Cairo Attractions

Enjoy your stay in Egypt while strolling down the streets of downtown Cairo, you can visit Borg El Qahira (Cairo Tower), which offers you a great view of Cairo from the top. In the morning you can see the glorious Nile and all the beautiful gardens of the surrounding health clubs. Do not forget to take photos of the Famous Opera House and Mohammed Ali Mosque.

After this complete view of Cairo, you can sail in a boat on the Nile at sunset to enjoy the beauty of the scenery surrounding the Nile.

You can also dedicate a day to sum up all the historical places. You can visit the National Museum at El Tahrir Square. Then you can take a tour inside the Pyramids in the morning and enjoy the popular sound and light show that is being performed at the Sphinx at night; this tour is a "must see" since it gives you a brief of the history of the pharos and how the pyramids were built.

To complete this memorable journey, you can visit the most famously glorious mosques and churches which are a clear reflection of the different eras and historic events that Egypt has witnessed. Among the famous mosques are The Mosque of Ibn Tulun, Al Azhar Mosque and Mosque of Sultan Hassan.

"Must see" churches are: Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), Saint Barbara's Church (Sitt Barbara), Church of the Saint George at Haret Zuwaila, Church of Holy Virgin in Babylon Al-Darag, The Church of Saint Mercurius – Cairo, The Church of Saint Mercurius at Haret Zewaila, Church of the Holy Virgin Mary at Haret Zuwaila, Greek Church of Saint George (Mari Girgis), and The Hanging Church (El Mu'allaqa).
