A completed EMS Dialysis Report, plus the patient’s most recent lab results (within the past 60 days).
This form must be completed in English, signed by the patient's treating nephrologist, sealed with the hospital stamp, and emailed back to reservation@ems-eg.com at least 2 weeks prior to the patient's arrival.
If the your home clinic can provide an English version of your medical records, that will be acceptable as well. In either case, please ensure that the records are stamped with the official hospital or clinic stamp.
To ensure availability and a seamless experience, all dialysis treatments must be booked and confirmed prior to your arrival to Hurghada. We regret we are unable to accommodate walk-in patients.
We request a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for all individual reservations and 30 days for groups exceeding 3 patients. Dialysis appointments are confirmed based on clinic availability at the time of receiving the completed online request and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
You can easily book your dialysis treatment by completing and submitting the electronic EMS Dialysis Booking Request Form. The form is available at this link, with a German version accessible here. Once submitted, you will receive your final booking confirmation via email within 48 business hours.
We provide three dialysis sessions daily at 9:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 8:00 PM, from Monday to Saturday.
Yes, we offer paid shuttle services for convenient transfers to and from our clinic, priced by distance.
We are unable to accommodate patients who are Hepatitis B, HIV, or MRSA positive, or children under 12 years old.
Please email a copy of your recent medical records (dated no earlier than 60 days prior) to reservation@ems-eg.com at least two weeks before your arrival to Hurghada. If your records are in a foreign language, your treating physician must complete and submit our EMS Dialysis Patient Report Form in English.
Cancellations with less than one week's notice or no-shows will incur a late cancellation fee of 100 EUR (or the equivalent amount in U$D or GBP). Patients unable to travel due to illness may email a doctor’s note to reservation@ems-eg.com.
Unfortunately, the EHIC card cannot be used in Egypt. It is intended for use only within the European Economic Area (including the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) and Switzerland.
We accept cash, debit/credit cards (Visa or MasterCard only), insurance coverage, and wire transfers (prior to arrival).
Payment is required at the time of service, without exception. For wire transfers, payment must be made at least two weeks prior to the patient’s arrival.
